With 20 years of experience as an executive assistant to Fortune 500 businesses like Ingram Micro and Western Digital, Katherine has a lengthy resume before her entrepreneurial venture into West Coast Transportation. Being a single mother who had to make daily trips from Temecula to Orange County, Katherine led a hectic life. It was high time that she changed something not only on her behalf, but also on behalf of her young children.
Upon realizing that there was a great need of luxurious transportation into the wineries and the casinos located in Temecula, Katherine spotted a market. After conducting detailed research and risk evaluation, she started the West Coast Transportation in 2003. The use of strategic online advertising helped the business to gain momentum rather quickly and the phone lines got busy. The new business model that Katherine developed allowed her to find profitable clients among local casinos and wineries.
Today, West Coast Transportation is one of the few female-owned businesses in Temecula that prides itself on delivering the best services possible and never quitting in ensuring that customer satisfaction sets the bar. This comes after approximately 20 years in the business.
